About Hans Meeder
Hans Meeder is a recognized expert in all aspects of Career-connected Learning, and has conducted research on these topics and authored numerous reports, blogs, podcasts, and books, including his latest - Preparing Tomorrow’s Workforce, and its predecessor- The Power and Promise of Pathways.
Hans provides speaking, professional development, and consulting services through Blue Crab Talent Strategy, and also serves as Senior Fellow for Education and Workforce Innovation at YouScience, a firm providing cutting-edge career-connected technology solutions.

Among many roles and experiences, Mr. Meeder served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Education, as a policy advisor for the U.S. House of Representatives Education and Workforce Committee, and was co-founder of the National Center for College and Career Transitions, a professional development and consulting organization that merged with YouScience in 2022.

Hans earned his B.A. from the University of Maryland and holds an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus. He lives in Columbia, Maryland with his wife, and is the father of four adult children and several grandchildren.
